The terms, in plain words

These are the conditions attached to each version of Runs On One. They are short because the offers are.

The book

Sold through retailers, whose return policies apply. The worksheets in the book are yours to copy for your own business.

The Binder — the guarantee and its condition

Fill in the first three instruments within thirty days of purchase. If you do not then have a priced, fenced offer, you get a full refund. The condition is proof of attempt, not proof of outcome: send the three instruments as you filled them in (the Binder exports one file), and the refund is issued within five business days. The Binder is a digital product delivered as one file; after a refund, please delete your copies.

Edition updates are delivered by email for twelve months from purchase, and the next annual edition when it ships. After twelve months the file you have keeps working; it simply stops updating.

Built for You — capacity and rerun

Eight engagements a month. If the month is full you are told the next opening before you pay. The ten instruments are delivered within five business days of a complete intake, and the intake is due within fourteen days of purchase. One rerun is included within six months, on the condition that the original intake was complete and on time. A second business, a second review, or a rerun after six months are separate engagements, priced on the offer page.

What this is not

Runs On One is not financial, tax, or legal advice, and nothing in the instruments replaces an accountant or a lawyer. The arithmetic is structural — floors, ceilings and cash timing — and the book says plainly when a number should go to a professional.

Your data

The Binder and the intake form save to your own browser and nowhere else. Nothing you type is transmitted unless you export a file and send it. Built for You intakes are kept for the engagement and the six-month rerun window, then deleted. Edition-update emails use express consent given at purchase, and every email has a working unsubscribe.

Who you are dealing with

Runs On One is published by CIONAOD Inc., a federally incorporated Canadian company in Ottawa, Ontario, run by Kenneth M.F. McGrath. Questions go to the address in your purchase confirmation.

Edition 1, 2026. These terms change only with a new edition, and the change is noted here.
